I breathe in the salty air, listen to the waves roar and cicadas hum. The warm breeze is satisfying as I note the absence of sweat trickling down various paths on my body. In and out. My breathe steadies. It’s a choppy day on the Andaman Sea here in Ban Nam Khem, Phang Nga province, Thailand. The multiple shades of turquoise layer through the sea like a decadent cake, creating a gorgeous view as the crashing waves delight the ears. The rhythms of the ocean soothe and calm me. Through its chaos, I find a sense of relaxation and mellowness.
Buddha watches over the well-loved and much used park beside the sea. Evoking thoughtfulness and meditative states. Well okay, just steady calm breathing is enough to meet my needs and feel I have had a break.
Very relaxing and inviting (a bit choppy on that day, but much warmer than our dark blue sea here). I can close my eyes and hear the waves lapping at the shore.

Yes it’s a bit (ha!) warmer than Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. But both places are gorgeous
