A Taste of Temples

Katie and I hung out and explored two more temples that morning after Angkor Wat.  We really wanted to return for a shower and a rest after the 4am rise to return for sunset, so we rushed a bit, but certainly had fun and played with photos!  It was great to have company.  We visited Banteay Kdei and Ta Nei.  Banteay Kdei was a preview of Ta Prohm with nature taking over the ancient city…. just one tree at Banteay Kdei.  And Ta Nei was a tiny set of ruins, not very popular.  The ruins haven’t been restored, they are still sprinkled everywhere.  I think we were the only people there.  Beautiful site, totally recommend it.
