Headed into Takuapa for a Shadow Puppet show in late February. This was for a celebration of Traditional Thai Culture and one of the highlights was the shadow puppet show. A massive stage was set up with a white screen and the puppeteer was behind it. His voice was broadcast. It seemed to have quite the humour as there were plenty of giggles and guffaws throughout. I didn’t know what they were saying but some jokes came across anyhow.
Turns out the puppeteer is famous nation wide and … He’s blind. What talent! Anyway, it was a very cool thing to experience.
